Here are some VERY important things you need to know about Firefighter Jeff
COW: Hey, Jeff, what is your favorite food?
JEFF: Steak!
COW: You DO realize who you're talking to. Oh well, your favorite dessert?
JEFF: I don’t eat sugar.
JEFF is Giant Cow Event Speaker & DIRECTOR OF THE KASEY PROGRAM
COW: So weird. Ok, how about your favorite amusement park ride?
JEFF: Roller Coasters, all of them.
COW: Now THAT we can agree on. Now tell us about YOUR worst injury as a kid.
JEFF: I fell out of a moving car going around a corner. At the time, I was wearing a Tupperware bowl on my head pretending to be a fire fighter. The bowl probably saved my life, and I've been wearing a fire helmet ever since.
COW: So how about your favorite song from church...and what's your favorite Bible verse?
JEFF: As a teenager, I memorized the words to And Can It Be and still love those words! A current favorite is the worship song, I Need Thee, because I need Jesus so badly. The Bible verse God has used in my life to motivate me to be more like Jesus is I Timothy 4:12 where it says to be an example to others of how a believer should talk, act, show love, etc.
COW: Tell us about your background in Children's Ministry? What has God placed on your heart that made you desire to minster to children?
JEFF: I have been teaching children fire safety for 29 years along with children’s ministry.
COW: Fire Safety?
JEFF: That's right. The Kasey Program© is a program that teaches children their fire & life safety skills by using Kasey, a black Labrador retriever, to perform the skills we teach, i.e., stop, drop & roll, checking the door to see if it's hot, knowing two ways out, etc. The program is geared for children preschool through 6th grade. We are proud to be the only full time, nationally touring, fire prevention program in the country...and we are excited to be on tour in 2022 with Giant Cow!
