is TARA HUNTSMAN from Danville, IN
Here are some VERY important things you need to know about Miss Tara
Tara is one of Giant Cow's Pre-School coordinators and a really good pie cook
COW: Hey, Miss Tara, what is your favorite food?
TARA: Homemade food, fruits and veggies,
health food, Mexican food, coffeehouse
food, bakery food...Oh? You meant one dish...
as a self-described foodie, I can't pick just one thing
COW: And your favorite dessert?
TARA: Chocolate. Dark Chocolate.
COW: Apparently picking one thing for dessert was much easier. How about your favorite amusement park ride?
TARA: Uh, nope, I don't do amusement park rides. I like the Ferris Wheel and Merry-Go-Round at the State Fair though!
COW: I can never fit in ANY of those rides. Ok, so tell us about YOUR worst injury as a little kid.
TARA: Well, when I was a toddler I cut my leg. I'm not really sure what happened, I don't remember it at all. I just know from my mom, that my dad had a screen door in the garage he was working on, I tripped or fell and cut my shin on it. I do have a scar from the incident.
COW: So how about your favorite song from church...and what's your favorite Bible verse?
TARA: "In Christ Alone" and "Amazing Grace" are some of my favorites. Romans 3:22-24, 1 John 1:7 & 9, I need these reminders that, by His gift of grace, we are forgiven and our redemption is in Christ Jesus.
COW: Tell us about your background in Children's Ministry? What has God placed on your heart that made you desire to minster to children?
TARA: It all started when I was a child attending these conferences by Children's Conferences Intl. (now known as The Giant Cow) at homeschool conventions. When I started volunteering, I truly fell in love with this ministry and interacting with the children in this type of environment. I have been thrilled to work with hundreds of children over the last 9 years! I have also worked in Sunday School classes. I want to show love and help nurture children to grow up knowing that Jesus loves them. I want to assure them He will always be there for them, and that God has a great plan for their lives.
