"Brother Bruce

COW:  How about your favorite amusement park ride?

BRUCE:  I really enjoy roller coasters.  The bigger the better.  But my all time favorite would be the kiddie roller coaster at The Kiddie Park in Bartlesville, Oklahoma: The very first roller coaster my daughter and I rode together  when she was 3 years old.

COW:  Awwww....that's sweet. So now tell us about the worst injury you ever had when YOU were a little kid.

BRUCE:  IN 5th grade, I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle:  Ouch!!!!! Lesson learned:  If you are going to make your friend so mad that he decides to chase when you are riding your bike, then look both ways before riding onto a street.

COW:  So how about your favorite song from church...and what's your favorite Bible verse?

BRUCE:  I really love church hymns because of their deep truths about God. My favorite ones include Blessed Jesus hold my hand, and The Banner Of The Cross. And my favorite part of God's Word is from 2 Samuel 9 where David showed the kindness of God to Mephibosheth for Jonathan's sake. You should read it!

COW:  Tell us about your background in Children's Ministry? What has God placed on your heart that made you desire to minster to children?

BRUCE: Sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ with children started for me at 16 years of age with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Over the last 30 years, I have been blessed to travel across this country speaking to kids at camps, revivals, conferences, Vacation Bible Schools, and other youth services. I am so privileged to be able to encourage children to freely accept God's love and forgiveness and be a part of following Jesus' message to his disciples when He said, "You need to change and become like little children. If you don't you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." I am passionately stirred to challenge children to accept Christ and his forgiveness AS children...to accept by faith a Savior they cannot see.
